* * * US Trade Deficit Soars To All Time High * * *
America's trade deficit soared to an all-time high of $60.3 billion in November 2005.  It reflected record levels for imports of everything from oil and consumer goods to farm products.  The largest defecit continues to be with China at $16.6 billion.  Wal-Mart purchases a significant amount of its consumer products from companys based in China.
So we ask the question ... Is Wal-Mart good for America?

 ********** Mountain In Concert **********

The Great Fatsby (Leslie West), along with Corky Laing, touring as Mountain, will pay a visit to the Hideout in Sandwich, Illinois on Saturday, February 5, 2005.  This will be a special rare stopover for the band and a great opportunity for those of us in the far far western sector of Chicagoland to get a chance to see, and listen to, one of the great hard rocking bands that made their mark in the late 60's and early 70's.

Mountain was formed in 1969 and hit it "big" when their single "Mississippi Queen" gained national prominence in 1970.  Although they experienced minor band member changes during their brief career, along with a couple of breakups and reunions along the way, the core of the band was guitarist Leslie West, drummer Corky Laing and bass player/producer Felix Pappalardi.

Tickets for the show are available here at the Kiss.
The price of admission will be $15 ... cash only please ... no service fee.

The show will sellout ... The Hideout holds about 300 people give or take a few.

For further information regarding the show, please log onto the Hideouts website at www.thehideoutclub.com.

Local Artist Releases Outstanding First Recording!!!

"In Aurora" by Noah Gabriel was recently released on Hidden Track Records and is a great start to the new year!

The release is Noah's first and includes contributions from a great list of notable artists including Tim Politte, Michael Addyman, Gary Belniak, Bobby Scumaci, Greg Boerner, Amber Lee, Ed Cain and Dana French.

The album was produced by Noah and Gary Belniak with assistance from Tim Politte, and was recorded at Belniak Media Studios in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

Musically, Noah is drawing comparisons to David Gilmore and Warren Haynes in terms of style and guitar tone ... his song writing and yearning moods will remind some of the "Can't Find My Way Home" Steve Winwood.

Expressive Vocals ... Down Home Feel ... Earthy Blues Influences
Selectively Smart Guitar Licks ... Great Back Beats
Nice Production Work and Mastering
A Must Have!

A most excellent start to what is sure to be a interesting, productive and musically enjoyable career ... when we look back on the year 2005, this release will remain in our list of top releases for the year ... it is that good!

For more information on Noah, visit the Hidden Tracks website at ...
